Levant Education has signed a partnership agreement with Arta Study, an Iranian study abroad agency, to offer student placement services in Iran.
The student placement partnership builds on a close relationship between the two organisations. For the past two years, Levant Education has been researching the Iranian market and leading market entry missions, while Arta Study has become a leading study abroad agency, licensed by the Ministry of Education, with particularly success with HE pathways.
Under the new agreement, Arta Study and Levant Education will offer student placement for Iranian students seeking to study abroad in the UK, Canada, Ireland, Europe, and Turkey.
Since 2014, according to the Levant Education Iran Market Entry Report, around 50,000 Iranian students per year choose to study overseas. The most popular destination markets are the USA, Canada, Germany, Australia, UK and UAE – although the USA is declining in popularity rapidly since the election of Donald Trump as President.
Holding a prestigious degree is highly regarded in Iran’s competitive jobs market. With ever-increasing competition for limited university places in Iran, studying abroad is an appealing option for families with the means to support a student at an overseas university. There is also a great need for students to study abroad, and return to Iran to assist with knowledge transfer and economic development.
